About “Empty bottles of 8”

I know, I know. The name just seems different. Well, here’s how it came about…

I grew up in the state of Kentucky. During summer’s I would leave the city of Louisville and spend time with my grandparents in Eastern Kentucky. While there I was introduced to something that I’d grow to love. Ginger Ale.

But no, not any Ginger Ale. A special kind. A One-of-A-kind…

I was introduced to a drink called Ale-8-One.

An amazing drink made in Kentucky.

I love getting bottles of Ale-8 and relaxing with a cold one in my hand. Feeling somewhat like the Lords of all creation as described by Morgan Freeman in Shawshank Redemption while sipping bohemian beers. Ale-8 is a drink of memories and good times.

When the bottles are empty, I have to find something. That is how this blog was formed…When life had to move past comfort. But still remembering how good things can be.

This is for the times where you have empty bottles of 8. Whatever 8 is in your life. This is the help. This is the time filler. This is my stress ball.

That’s how this came about.
